Installation instructions for Infovox 330 - April 99 CD Release

Contents of April 99 CD release

The April 99 release of Infovox 330 is essentially an upgrade for the Infovox 330 Voices. Compared to the latest version of Infovox 330 you'll get the following improvements:

- "Ingmar (Swedish)", a completely new male Swedish voice.
- "Vegard (Swedish)", a completely new male Norwegian voice.
- "Gerhard (German)" upgraded and improved.
- "Pierre (French)" upgraded and improved.

Installation

You cannot install the "April 99 CD release" of Infovox if you have not installed Infovox 330 v2.0, distributed with the "February 99 CD release".

If you don't have Infovox 330 installed on your PC

1. Get the "February 99" CD and run the Setup command from the IVX330 directory.
2. You must choose at least one language (you can upgrade it later if you wish).
3. Answer "NO" when questioned whether you want a "30 days free license".
4. Get the "April 99" CD and run the Setup command.
5. Choose all the languages you wish to install or upgrade.
6. Answer "YES" when answered if you want a "30 days free license" if you wish to test Infovox before you buy a license.

If you have Infovox 330 v2.0 already installed on your PC

1. Get the "April 99" CD and run the Setup command.
2. Choose all the languages you wish to install or upgrade.
3. Answer "YES" when answered if you want a "30 days free license" if you wish to test Infovox before you buy a license.

If you have a version of Infovox 330 installed on your PC older than v2.0

In this case you should uninstall Infovox 330 before continuing with the upgrade. The uninstallation program will not affect your license, so you do not need to worry about that. To uninstall Infovox 330 use the "Add/remove program" command from the Windows Control Panel.
When you have uninstalled the older version of Infovox 330, you can follow the procedure described in the section called "If you don't have Infovox 330 installed on your PC".
